Titration Competition at University of Guam

UOG holds a yearly Chemistry Titration competition that is open to all high schools here on island.  This year, Harvest was one of 8 schools that sent students to the competition. Titration is an experimental technique where the quantity of chemical substance is determined by volume measurement. In the competition, the students are given a sample of an impure compound, and they have to determine the percentage purity. Points are based on how precise and accurate the final results are.

Morgen McCann who won 1st Place overall in the individual category! Sohwi Jung won 3rd Place in the Laboratory Skill category. Maylene Yeh and JR Noh both won prizes as well. Congratulations to our awesome Chemistry students!
