The Future is Bright for the Class of 2015

Of the 115 colleges and universities who have accepted our Harvest seniors, almost 60 of these institutions are preparing for our 88 HCA high school graduates! This kind-hearted and fun-loving class are “ready as ever” for their college journey. Universities like Princeton, Baylor, Cornell, and Pepperdine as well as the United States Naval Academy and the Culinary Institution of America are anticipating our HCA grads. One individual senior has a unique story of accomplishment. Daniel Han’s early elementary years were spent in the Harvest classrooms. After leaving for a few years, he returned in eighth grade to finish his middle and high school careers. His recent acceptance and scholarship to Princeton University has made him thankful for his education at Harvest. “Harvest, as an academic institution, has definitely prepared me for the mental rigors of college. More importantly, attending Harvest has helped develop a solid Biblical foundation of doctrine which I can use to accurately assess the differing worldviews that I will encounter in college and in life.” Daniel also acknowledges the impact of his parents in his life with teaching him “valuable principles, such as honesty and the value of hard work.” Daniel received scholarships from Vanderbilt and MIT as well but in his words, “I felt that Princeton’s academic and extracurricular programs were well-suited to my needs” and provided more financial benefit along with having good churches close-by. When interviewed for this article, Daniel purposefully attributes his achievements, be they academic or otherwise, completely “to the grace of God in my life.” Harvest Christian Academy is extremely proud of this 2015 class and excited for their future success in all aspects of life!
