Spirit week is perhaps the most important four days of the entire school year. It is designed to create an atmosphere where God can be heard, without the distractions and pressures of the average school day. For this reason, students hung up their back packs, left their uniforms folded in the drawer, and prepared for battle.
On the fields, four loud and colorful teams clashed. Blue team POW, orange team BOOM, purple team SMASH, and green team ZAP battled for victory. Intense games and mind-stretching competitions measured the four teams. Team BOOM, led by Mr. Marshall, emerged victoriously!
Students look forward to Spirit Week and its focus on having fun and learning Godly principles.
Pastor Jeff Redlin, our special speaker for the week, outlined the battle plan for the Christian. He spoke of the God who makes victory possible and the enemy who stands in their way. God graciously worked in many hearts and a number of life-changing decisions were made.
