Dear Parents,

Thank you for persevering during these challenging times. Today marks 200 days since the schools were originally closed in response to the COIVD-19 pandemic. We are so grateful for your effort, and the resilience and creativity of HCA teachers who are continually adapting and finding ways to maximize the educational value we provide to your children.

2020-2021 School Re-entry Plan

HCA administration has been working with the leadership of Guam to communicate our support, as well as share the depth and breadth of the academic, social, and physical impact that the school closure has caused our children.

At HCA, safety is a top priority, and it must be balanced with the long term consequences associated with extended periods of virtual learning. It is for this reason, that we are sharing an open letter that we have sent to the Senators of the 35th Guam Legislator. We are advocating that schools be allowed to provide the choice of face to face education for our students.

We are asking you to help communicate the importance of face-to-face education to the Governor and the Senators. We ask you to take 3 steps:

  1. Read the open letter that HCA Administration sent to the legislature.
  2. Consider the academic, social, mental, and spiritual impact that virtual education is having on your children.
  3. Send an email or make a phone call to our leadership.
    a. Contact information for the Senators of Guam: http://www.guamlegislature.com/senators_35th.htm
    b. Contact information for our Governor: https://governor.guam.gov/contact-us/

Our campus and safety procedures have been modified to adhere to the guidelines outlined in our HCA Re-Entry Plan. HCA is ready for the reopening of schools!

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Please contact us with any questions or concerns,

HCA Administration
