All of the high school students got an early morning wakeup call after Thanksgiving break. They were motivated and challenged about their future college choices.
Dr. Abels and Mr. Lewis worked as a team to give HCA students an overview of the college admissions process. Mrs. Jae Han provided additional information. The topics included motivational perspectives on life, college, and eternity. Also covered were: HCA graduation requirements, typical application timeline, tips on choosing colleges, and an introduction to Naviance.
Naviance is software that allows students to research, select, and communicate with thousands of colleges in the US. The seminar ended with a question and answer time with students.
We are confident students in attendance left encouraged and better equipped to finish the semester well, and set their sights on great goals for extraordinary futures wherever God will take them!
