Summer College Essay Workshop (rising 11th - 12th)
June 4 - June 15
Through the College Essay Workshop at Harvest Christian Academy, students will understand the various goals for writing a college essay. Students will also take one essay through its writing stages: brainstorming, revising, and editing. We hope that this workshop will give students a better understanding of how to craft essays for college and scholarship opportunities. When students complete this week-long course, they should have one essay ready to submit as part of their college application, giving them a great start to what can be a long process.
This class will be offered in three blocks:
Block 1: June 4 - June 8, 1:00 - 2:00pm
Block 2: June 4 - June 8, 2:30 - 3:30pm
Block 3: June 11 - June 15, 2:00 - 3:00pm
NOTE: To maximize personal instruction, block classes will be limited to 8 people per class.
